diagonally into 12 equal slices 2 tsp olive or vegetable oil 2 small plum tomatoes,
seeded and finely chopped 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil 2 drained canned anchovy
fillets, mashed 1/4 tsp oregano leaves Dash each garlic powder and
pepper 2 ounces Gruyere or Swiss
