Ingredients
5 ounces ground turkey
3 tbsp seasoned dried bread crumbs
1 egg white
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, divided
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp whipped butter
2 tsp all-purpose flour
½ cup low-fat milk (1% milk fat)
¼ cup water
1 packet instant chicken broth and seasoning mix
Method

In medium mixing bowl combine turkey, bread crumbs, egg white, onion, 2
tsp parsley and the garlic and mix well.

Shape mixture into 4 equal
patties; set aside.

In 9-inch nonstick skillet heat oil; add patties to skillet and cook
over medium heat, turning once, until browned and cooked through, about
4 minutes on each side.

Transfer patties to plate and set aside.

In same skillet melt butter; sprinkle with flour and stir quickly to
combine.

Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.

Gradually stir in milk, water, broth mix and remaining tsp parsley.

Increase heat to high and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture
comes to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and let simmer until mixture
thickens, 2 to 3 minutes.

Return turkey patties to skillet and cook
until heated through, about 2 minutes.

MAKES 2 SERVINGS, 2 PATTIES EACH.
