Soybean Loaf

Ingredients

3 cups soybeans

3/4 cup whole wheat crackers

3 eggs

3/4 cup milk or soya milk

3 tbsp grated onion

6 tbsp soybean oil

1 1/2 tbsp vegetized seasoning

1 cup water


Method

  • Cook and mash the beans.

  • Now brown the cracker crumbs and sift.

  • Mix remaining ingredients together thoroughly.

  • Place an oiled bread pan.

  • Bake in a moderate oven about 30 minutes.

  • May be served hot or cold.

  • Tastes like genuine meat loaf yet is meatless.
