Pecan Chops

Ingredients

1 small onion, chopped

3 cups of toasted croutons

2 cups pecan meats

1 egg

2 cups milk

vegetized salt to taste


Method

  • Braise the onion in oil.

  • Add the croutons, nuts, salt, and egg.

  • Moisten the mixture with enough milk to form it into chops.

  • Bake these in an oven at moderate (350o F) temperature and serve with gravy.
