White Chocolate, Fruit and Cream

Ingredients


2 cups strawberries (reserve 2 berries, with hulls attached, for garnish)

1/3 cup plus 2 tsp thawed frozen dairy whipped topping

1/2 ounce white chocolate, melted


Method

  • In work bowl of food processor process strawberries until pureed, scraping down sides of container when necessary.

  • Transfer to 8x8x2-inch nonstick pan; fold in whipped topping.

  • Stir in chocolate until blended.

  • Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until partially frozen, about 30 minutes.

  • Stir mixture from edges toward center; cover and freeze until smooth and creamy, about 1 hour.

  • To serve, into each of two dessert or champagne glasses scoop half of the strawberry mixture.

  • Top each portion with a reserved strawberry.

Note:

  • Chocolate melts like magic in the microwave oven. Microwave on Medium (50%) and in a matter of a minute or two it is done. Be sure to stir melting chocolate frequently.
