Serve warm or chilled. This sauce will
keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Ingredients
1/2 cup evaporated skimmed milk
1 tsp cornstarch
1 1/2 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
2 tsp margarine
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
Method
In small microwavable mixing bowl combine
milk and cornstarch and stir to dissolve cornstarch.
Microwave on High (100%) for 1 minute.
Add chocolate and margarine and microwave
on High for 1 minute, until chocolate is melted and mixture thickens,
stirring every 30 seconds.
Stir in extract.
Transfer to jar with tight-fitting cover
and refrigerate until ready to serve.
