The Blender

If you own a blender, use it to make a satisfying milkshake. Whenever you need 1/2 cup of skim milk, you may combine in the blender with 1 cup of cold diet soda to make a frothy shake. Raspberry, chocolate, and black berry are a few of the delicious flavors you might try. Or blend milk with chocolate syrup or a reduced-calorie spread.

  • Use the blender to make graham cracker crumbs for dessert recipes.

  • For a real timesaver, measure right in the blender container; most are marked in cups and ounces.
  • When processing liquids, never fill the blender to the top; always start on low speed and gradually increase to the desired speed.
