Prepare there delicious muffins ahead and freeze them. When you are ready to serve them, just thaw at room temperature; to enjoy warm muffins, heat them in the microwave oven or toaster-oven before serving.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 tbsp grated orange peel 1 12 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp each ground ginger and ground cinnamon 1/8 tsp ground cloves 3/4 cup water 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1/4 cup dark molasses 1/4 cup each margarine and whipped butter, melted and cooled
