Fruit and Cheese Pizza

Ingredients:

2 pitas (2 ounces each)

1 tbsp whipped butter, melted

1/2 tsp granulated sugar

1 small nectarine (about 5 ounces) or medium peach (about 1/4 pound), pitted and sliced

1 medium kiwi fruit (about 3 ounces), pared, cut in half lengthwise, and sliced

2 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled


Method

  • On baking sheet arrange pitas in a single layer; brush each with half of the  the sugar.

  • Broil until sugar melts and pitas are toasted, about 1minute.

  • Decoratively arrange half of the nectarine (or peach) and kiwi fruit slices on each pita then top each with half of the cheese.

  • Broil until cheese is melted, about 1 minute.
